STUDIO 109 SCHOLARSHIP
Studio 109 takes pride in our community, and for many years, we have looked for opportunities to give back. During our 20th Anniversary year (2018), we launched the Studio 109 Scholarship - an initiative designed to give back to our dedicated 109ers.
Open to all ages, the Studio 109 Scholarship will be given to a deserving student and cover all group dance classes*.

Complete the Studio 109 Dance Scholarship Application Form.

Write a 500 (or less) word essay, answering the question: How Does Dance Make Me A Better Person ?
It is important your essay does not go over 500 words. -
A cover sheet with your name, age, academic awards, dance and community volunteer experience.

Include an 8x10 headshot photo.

Prepare a 1 minute dance (no longer) to showcase at an audition to the scholarship board members. This audition will be on 5/14/2022, no exceptions.

Provide one letter of recommendation - from for example: your dance instructor, a teacher, guidance counselor, clergy member, etc.
Deadline is 4/11/22, no late entries will be accepted.
* includes all group dance classes for the period September 2022 - June 2023. It does not include solos, costumes, workshops or competition fees.

2022 DATES TO REMEMBER

Monday, April 11, 2022 - application package due. No late entries will be accepted.

Saturday, May 14, 2022 - audition will be held from 1-2pm at Studio 109 (no exceptions).

Saturday, June 18, 2022 - announcement of winner at Recital
