ABOUT THE STUDIO 109 SCHOLARSHIP

Studio 109 takes pride in our community, and for many years, we have looked for opportunities to give back. During our 20th Anniversary year (2018), we launched the Studio 109 Scholarship - an initiative designed to give back to our dedicated 109ers

Open to all ages, the Studio 109 Scholarship will be given to a deserving student and cover all group dance classes*.

TO APPLY

Each participant has to complete the following requirements:

1. Download / fill out the this questionnaire

2. Include a 8x10 headshot or Danceshot of your choosing

3. Provide one letter of recommendation: Ex. one from your dance instructor, from a teacher, guidance counselor, sport coach etc. 

4. Prepare a 60 second solo, in the style of our choosing, to be performed for our panel on May 17, 2024. Auditions are 3:30-5pm, they will be on a first arrival schedule.

5. Paperwork is due at time of audition, no late entries will be accepted. 

6. All paperwork should be compiled into a folder, manila envelope, or small binder for safe keeping.

* includes all group dance classes for the period September 2024 - June 2025. It does not include solos, costumes, workshops or competition fees.
